2013 superbike test
We had our frst test of 2013 on the new surfaced phillip island circuit on the new 2013 Honda CBR 1000 Fireblade last wednesday. The weather was really good and we learnt alot about the new firblade. I started off the day on the superbike to get some photos for the THR poster for 2013, then got ontp the supersport 600, and tested that for the rest of the day. Next weekend we have world supersport and I am doing a wild card with Team Honda Racing.
It is going to be tough but the team at THR have been working hard and are building a fast and competetive motor so a huge thanks to those guys. Also like to thank alpinestars and bell for hooking me up with a sick new kit for this weekend. As well as Honda Australia HRC and Oakley for there continuied support.
Preparation for World Supersport with Team Honda Racing
I have arrived here in Melbourne 2 weeks prior to the first round of the World Superbike event at Phillip Island. Where i will be doing a wild card in the world supersport 600 class. I am really looking forward to racing against these guys in WSS, its going to be a hard few days but i am focused and ready to perform at my best. Team Honda Racing has been working really hard in the offseason preparing a fast competitive bike for the race, we have had alot of help from HRC so a huge thanks to you guys for your support, Greatly appreciated.
We are on the way to the track tomorrow for some testing then back to Melbourne for the 2013 Honda CBR1000 launch. Then back to Phillip Island on the 18th/19th for the official WSBK WSS Test. So we have a busy couple of weeks down here leading up to the race on the 22nd-23rd.
